SISTHER SURPRISE IN ODENSE
Edward Gal thrilled spectators in the first World Cup qualifier in Odense this weekend with his eyecatching and extravagant 10 year old mare Sisther de Jeu S. Gribaldi.
The pair came in second on the first day, with 71,6 % after Anky van Grunsven, but was much closer on Sunday when scoring 80,35 % in her first Freestyle with the appropriate openingsong: Hey Sisther, go Sisther!
Edward who already rides the most exciting dressage horse in the world seems to haven found a female version of the sensational Totilas in his halfsister!
The power, elegance and obvious potential of Sisther is breathtaking.
She filled the arena with energy, and her natural rhythm made the difficult excercises looking relatively easy.
"I was very happy with the ride" Edward said, knowing the mare is growing in confidence all the time.
"She can be very tense on sounds and music but she is learning fast, she is a very good horse but she needs some more time to develop in that way".
